The Word of Peace

“The word which God sent to the children of Israel, preaching peace through Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all)”
In Acts 10:36, we find a profound declaration of God’s message to humanity: peace through Jesus Christ. This message wasn’t just for Israel, it was the beginning of the gospel reaching the Gentiles too. At the house of Cornelius, a Roman centurion, Peter proclaims that Jesus is Lord of all; a Lord not limited by race, nationality, or background.
God's Word didn’t just speak peace; it sent peace in the person of Jesus. In a world filled with division, fear, and conflict, Jesus came as the Prince of Peace, reconciling us first with God and then with one another. The peace He offers is not fleeting or circumstantial; it is rooted in His finished work on the cross and His authority over all creation.
Are you living under the lordship of Jesus, allowing His peace to reign in your heart?

Lord Jesus, thank You for being the Word sent from God to bring peace. Thank You for reconciling us to the Father and calling us into Your eternal Kingdom. Help me to live daily under Your Lordship and share this peace with others. Amen.
